Product properties & Features

Gabapentin can be used for post-herpetic neuralgia; For the adjunctive treatment of partial seizures with or without secondary systemic seizures in adults and children over 12 years of age. It can also be used for the adjuvant treatment of partial seizures in children aged 3 to 12 years.

Gabapentin is structurally related to the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), but has no effect on GABA binding, uptake or degradation.

Application

Antianxiety agent;

It is used as an additional treatment for patients with localized seizures that are not satisfactorily controlled or tolerated by conventional antiepileptics, and for patients with localized seizures and subsequent generalized seizures. Anti-anxiety medication.
