Levamidazole, also known as leimidazole, letimidazole ascaris, repellent speed. It is a L-isomer of thiamidazole, commonly used in its hydrochloride or phosphate, and is white or white like crystalline powder Chemicalbook. Odorless, bitter taste, easily dissolved in water, soluble in ethanol hydrochloride, phosphate slightly soluble. It is easy to decompose and fail in alkaline aqueous solution.
Application
Levamisole is commonly used to dewormer a variety of animals and is effective against both adults and larvae. To a variety of nematodes have eye repellent parasites. It can be used to repel a variety of threadworms in poultry, and can be used to repel roundworms, intestinal nematodes (Strongylodes), intestinal nematodes (Trichostrongylodes), intestinal nematodes (Strongylodes), nodostoma (oesophagostoma), and renal worms in ureters (corylococcylodes) in pigs. Canines can be used to repel roundworms, hookworms and heartworms.
