Product properties & Features
Inositol, also known as cyclohexanol, hexahydroxycyclohexane, cyclohexanol, carnosine, and noninositol, belongs to one of the B vitamins. Due to the different orientation of the hydroxyl group relative to the ring plane, there are 9 isomers, among which 7 are non-optically active and 2 are optically active (left-handed and right-handed). It exists in free or combined form in all biological tissues in nature. It is a common component in animal and plant cells. It can be synthesized by digestive tract microorganisms and participate in carbohydrate and lipid metabolism in the body. Chemicalbook mainly exists in the form of phosphatidylinositol in animals, and is most abundant in brain, heart and skeletal muscle. The plant mainly exists in the form of inositol phosphate, and can combine with calcium, zinc, iron and other insoluble compounds, interfere with its digestion and absorption. When inositol is lacking in animal diet, hair shedding occurs and affects development. Inositol is related to intracellular calcium metabolism, and its triphosphate derivatives can be released from lipid complexes after cell stimulation, acting as a second messenger, mobilizing intracellular calcium ions and regulating many cellular activities, such as secretion, metabolism, photoconduction and cell division
Application
As a food fortifying agent, it has similar effects with vitamin B1. Can be used for infant food, the amount of 210~250mg/kg; The dosage in liquid is 25~30mg/kg;
Inositol is an essential vitamin for lipid metabolism in the body. It can promote the absorption of vitamins and lipid-lowering drugs, and promote the metabolism of fat and the growth of cells in liver and other tissues. It is used in the adjuvant treatment of fatty liver and hyperlipidemia. Widely used in food and feed additives. Often added to fish, shrimp and livestock feed. Dosage 350-500mg/kg;
The product is one of B complex vitamins, can promote cell metabolism, improve the role of cell nutrition, can promote development, increase appetite, restore physical strength. It can also prevent the accumulation of fat in the liver, accelerate the removal of excess fat in the heart, and has a synergistic effect with choline, so it is used in the treatment of liver fat prevention of hyperplasia and cirrhosis. According to the Hygienic Standard for the Use of Chemicalbook Food Nutrition Fortifier (1993) issued by the Ministry of Health, it can be used for infant food and fortified beverage with the dosage of 380-790mg/kg. Vitamin drugs and hypolipidemic drugs, promote fat metabolism in liver and other tissues, used for the adjuvant treatment of fatty liver and hyperlipidemia. Widely used in food and beverage additives;
Inositol is widely used in medicine, chemical industry, food and so on. It has curative effect on hepatic sclerosis and other diseases. It can also be used as raw material of advanced cosmetics and has high economic value.
Used as biochemical reagent, also used in pharmaceutical and organic synthesis, cholesterol. reduction; sedative
