Proparacaine were more effective than but less toxic. Ct values of Proparacaine in FHV-1(P<0.01), C.fleis and 8SrDNA were significantly increased when fusididic acid was used.
In vivo study
ProparacainChemicalbook inhibits the migration and adhesion of corneal epithelial cells by altering actin cytoskeleton. Proparacaine, like bupivacaine or , anesthetizes the spinal cord, causing loss of motor function, motor perception, and sensory injury. Intrathecal promecaine is more effective for sensory anesthesia than for motor anesthesia.
